PluraVida CEO Sam Gilchrist is hitting the road for the legendary South by Southwest Music conference in Austin, Texas.
Sam will be speaking on a panel, "Content, Copyright and Commerce" with other industry leaders, discussing how many entrepreneurs face the challenge of acquiring content and the necessary rights to use it.
The panelists will discuss topics like direct licensing vs. blanket licensing, the pros/cons of safe harbor/DMCA protection, specific right clearances needed for each type of content use (e.g. synch/mechanical/performance), international issues, current industry trends and the legal environment.
